My daughter had her baby today, Halloween. Miss Danica Mary Helen is 9 lbs., 11 oz., and 20 1/2 inches long. She arrived at 5:35 PM. I heard her first cries over the telephone, and she has a fine set of lungs.

I got the baby an Egyptomania onesie, embroidered with a dancing mummy and bearing the legend 'I'm a mummy's girl'. I've also stocked up om childrens AE books, so she'll either be botred to tears or an Egyptological genius!!!
