I only recently joined.
My name is Jeff, and my Kemetic name is Setepenaset Meryamun. I'm an independent Kemetic
My Parent is Aset/Isis and my Beloveds are Amun and Aten (for a few years I mistakenly thought Aten was my parent until I was corrected in a series of dreams. (I say Isis instead of Aset because I've had dreams and visions in which She made it clear to me that my Parent is not just Aset in general, but specifically Her Ptolemaic era manifestation. A lot of people don't regard Greco-Egyptian Isis as a "true Kemetic deity", but if you look at the information available about Her, even though she started wearing a Roman stola she never forgot Her Kemetic identity. In Apuleius' description of an Aset/Isis Her worship included the other Kemetic deities as well as other Kemetic features. (forgive my long digression here, but I frequently find myself having to defend my Parent to people who don't see her as truly Kemetic).

Both parts of my name were given to me in dreams.

Em Hotep, and Welcome Jeff!

First, let me address what seems to be a concern:

Your first responsibility is to your Goddess, and if Isis is how She wants to be known to you, who are mere mortals to argue?

The Egyptians themselves syncretized Aset with so many other goddesses, that Graeco-Roman Isis shouldn't really be that much of a stretch.

In the 'Prayer and Heka' section, I've posted the hymns to Aset from the sanctuary of the temple at Philae, and I think I've included two of the Ptolemeic Aretologies. If you've not seen these, they might be of interest to you.

I'm glad to see you here, and I hope you continue to post.
