This richly illustrated book is a wonderful introduction to the primary Neteru in the Egyptian pantheon. While this work lacks the depth of philosophical discussion and analysis that, in my opinion, is so badly needed in this field, it does provide excellent information concerning the deities discussed. Rather than being the type of book one reads from cover to cover, this work is best used as a reference. Particularly so when one is researching information on specific Neteru. As such I recommend this work to those just beginning to study Ancient Egyptian religion; it is very good for members of Akhet who are at the Rekhyet level of training.
